Simplicity forms the essence of Beatriz’s work, which is based on the use of fresh, top quality produce.

Born in 1981, Beatriz Sotelo obtained major success at the 2008 edition of the Alimentaria food and beverage fair, winning first prize in the Spanish Chef of the Year competition. Hers is a sophisticated cuisine yet which is deeply rooted in Galician tradition, and whose origins can be found in the tiny village of Ardán where she grew up amongst kitchen gardens and farmyard animals and where the kitchen was the centre of family life.
